Historic Oriental Warehouse Building

Warehouse is a historic building that is now a warehouse, located in the area around the coast south of San Francisco. Built by utilizing local architectural Edmonds & Lee to spearhead a complete reconfiguration and renovation of space. Renovations carried out by Edmonds & Lee seems to bring results, replacing opaque fence rail mezzanine sleeping with transparent glass, providing a direct visual connection to the space below. Edmonds & Lee also allow breathing room with a bath using a large sheet of transparent glass in the toilet instead of a closed wall, allowing privacy at least to keep the atmosphere open and lofty. Education House Kjeller in Norway

The Education House Project which was built in Norway is part of a larger expansion of the Centre for Expertise Lillestrøm, and the building was designed to be the conclusion of the main axis through the master plan. This building has a distinctive shape, with simple shapes and clean lines will give the center a new icon that represents a new and more modern image. The building is both the headquarters building for the Center for Expertise and the entrance to the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment. This duality is reflected in the shape of the building, which consists of two different volumes are wrapped together. The main entrance is located at the intersection between two volumes. Façade is designed to present a more open aspect towards the square in the center, and a closed mode, a protective face towards the road that ran along the side of the building. Balancing Barn England by MVRDV in Suffolk

The Balancing Barn is one of the winners who received the red dot design award, one of the most prestigious competitions in the world of design. The official award ceremony will take place at the Aalto Theatre in Essen, Germany on 4 July 2011.

Balancing Barn is situated on a beautiful site by a small lake in the English countryside near Thorington in Suffolk. The Barn responds through its architecture and engineering to the site condition and natural setting. The traditional barn shape and reflective metal sheeting take their references from the local building vernacular. In this sense the Balancing Barn aims to live up to its educational goal in re-evaluating the countryside and making modern architecture accessible. Additionally, it is both a restful and exciting holiday home. Unique design looks seen at this house because without windows and doors, seems to be a secret bunkers or buildings with impenetrable fence. As soon as the owner enters the main gate the house is miraculously transformed. The impenetrable concrete fence is folded, windows are open and eventually smart house turns into a luxury country mansion with an indoor pool.
