Architecture Royal Clarence Yard
The new architecture has come back and connect the different historic buildings in a bold but respectful manner and does not eliminate the value of the history of the building. Royal Clarence Yard was established in 1831 as a victualling yard supplying the Royal Navy with fresh water, salt meat, biscuits and rum. The site sits adjacent to a Site of Special Scientific Interest and includes two Conservation Areas containing 18 Grade II and II* listed buildings and Scheduled Ancient Monuments.
