Spanish architect HRuiz-Velazquez designed the Living Nature space for the 2010 Feria Habitat exhibition in Valencia, Spain. The Fair hired me to build an ephemeral building in the entrance of the fair Sept-Oct 2010 . The structure has four shop windows (like a small shopping center representing the four types of living in the country). The project had to be build in only 10 days and it had to be reusable with a different shape at another fair.

The space Living Nature houses an exhibition about different ways of Spanish life style. It’s a new expositional concept inspired by innovation and sustainability. We all love coconut, banans, Phoenix and the backyard was decorated with palms. The company Pacific Green has created a fairly large collection of furniture made from Palmwood. All furniture pieces inspired by the people who live in the Pacific Islands and using coconut tree to get all kinds of things. The Nest Chair is a new seat design made by Nina Bruun. The chair is inspired by nature made to resemble bird nests. To make this chair designers play with strips of birch in different thicknesses and threw them around the supporting structure. To appear like a bird’s nest, for the seat cushions are covered with a dusty brown color to provide beauty and comfort.
