Neuland Industriedesign has created a new archetype of the chair “Polyurethane Elephant.” Generous and gentle, friendly and dynamic that is what the show by following these chair designs. Inspired by an elephant, then made basic pattern of the chair. The basic version is made from rigid foam in different colors, with 4 legs or sled base in chrome, brushed or painted to match. Chair contemporary plays nuanced color, like white, black and beige, natural colors, like green terracotta, brown and olive, to create mimetic effects in outdoor environments. There are also proposals almost extreme in the sense of the industry, made in a natural color polyurethane is formed, a shade that changes from time to time depending on environmental conditions: this is also a “first” for Kristalia. Japanese designer takeshi miyakawa exhibited his Holey Chair. The ‘holey chair’ is a light fixture constructed from white acrylic in the shape of a chair frame. LEDs embedded within illuminate the form.
